RECALL Statement of Reason: 1. She regularly violates the Freedom of Information Act by requiring applicants requesting information to comply with her personal, arbitrary demands, which are not required by the Act. 2. She regularly violates the Open Meetings Act by deliberating with a quorum of the township board without notice or allowing the public to attend. 3. She systematically treats township residents with incivility, belligerence and hostility, not only when they seek her assistance, but during Milton Township Board Meetings. 4. Despite having signed the Milton Township Principles of Governance on November 24, 2009, she has repeatedly violated many of the 10 promises. 5. She regularly votes to appropriate funds for her husband, Deputy Township Clerk, Paul Boggs, when she should abstain, thereby creating an appearance of impropriety, if not constituting an actual conflict of interest. 6. Despite being responsible for maintaining the Qualified Voter File for the township, only half of the file is current. 7. She frequently submits erroneous financial statements to the Township Board, which often results in her amending same at the last minute during Board Meetings, thereby forcing the Board to either make instant decisions or adjourn the matter(s) to a later date. Justification of Conduct in Office: By her own admission, Sue Ellen told people signing the recall petition that she had filed the recall twice. Sue Ellen lives in Mishawaka, Indiana and is a registered voter in St. Joseph County, Indiana. This is against Michigan Statute MCL 168.544C. This recall does not meet the legal definition of clarity. The charges do not state who, what, when, where, date and time. The charges are in general terms without any backup. Sue Ellen filed charges with the Michigan Election Commissioner that Clerk Boggs denied ½ of the voters in the November 2009 election the right to vote. The Election Commission in their investigation found the charges were false and the case was dismissed without merit. Donald Kronewitter and Sue Ellen Kronewitter, the petitioners extreme outrageous conduct, atrocious lying and accusations go beyond all bounds of decency and should be regarded as utterly intolerable at best and the constant harassment and criminal intimidation by the petitioners needs to stop. Voters – the petitioners have acted the same way at every committee and commission in Milton Township. Approving this recall will condone the corruption existing in Milton Township today. Shall Jacqueline Boggs be recalled from the office of Milton Township Clerk?
