Proposal for the Funding for the Enhanced 911 Emergency Telephone and Central Dispatch -- Lenawee County Proposal

To continue enhanced 911 emergency service, shall Lenawee County continue to assess telephone customers within the geographical boundaries of Lenawee County up to 14% of the lesser of $20.00 or the highest monthly rate flat rate charged by a service supplier for a 1-party access line in Lenawee County, in addition to the 4% assessment which may be authorized by the Lenawee County Board of Commissioners, making a total of up to a 18% assessment, for a period of four (4) years (2007-2010, inclusive), with the revenue generated to be distributed as provided in the Lenawee County 911 Emergency Telephone Answering and Dispatch System? The total assessment shall not exceed $2.52 per month per one-party access line and shall be contingent upon the continuing authorization for this assessment by the State Legislature.
