Cass Co Courthouse Bldg Project -- Cass County courthouse Bldg Project

Shall there be approved an increase of up to an eight tenths (.8) mill levy (eighty (80 cents per thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars) in State equalized valuation of real and personal property in Cass County over and above the fifteen (15) mill constitutional limitation on real and tangible property for a period of twenty (20) yrs, commencing Dec 1, 2000 to be used for the purpose of constructing, equipping and operating a new law and courts building and renovating the existing courthouse? It is anticipated that the revenue collected by the County as a result of this proposal will be eight hundred and five thousand ($805,000) dollars in this first calendar yr of the levy.
