This proposal will allow the
intermediate school district to restore
its allocated millage to the full
amount previously allocated for
operating purposes.
Shall the limitation on the annual
property tax rate which may be
assessed against all property in
Allegan Area Educational Service
Agency, Michigan, be increased by
0.0262 mill ($0.0262 on each $1,000
of taxable valuation) for a period of
15 years, 2020 to 2034, inclusive, to
provide funds for operating purposes
(this increase will allow the
intermediate school district to levy
the maximum rate of 0.14 mill
previously allocated and approved
by the electors that has been
reduced as required by the Michigan
Constitution of 1963); the estimate of
the revenue the intermediate school
district will collect if the millage is
approved and levied in 2020 is
approximately $81,244 from local
property taxes authorized herein?
